The 2018 TEDxUCDavisSF event will take place at the SPUR Urban Center in San Francisco. Located in the Yerba Buena district of San Francisco, the Urban Center is registered with the United States Green Building Council and rated LEED NC Silver. Not only does the Urban Center reuse 95% of the former 654 Mission building, it also incorporates structural steel that is 95% recycled material.  The carpets at SPUR are partially made with post-industrial scrap and the cabinetry is made of crushed sunflower seed husks, a renewable material.

The Urban Center is within walking distance to several landmarks in downtown San Francisco including the Union Square, the Moscone Center, and the Westfield San Francisco Centre. The SPUR Urban Center is a short walk from Caltrain (4th and King St. Station) and BART (Montgomery or Powell St. station). Parking garages nearby include the Jessie Square Garage and the SF MOMA Garage. Have some time in the morning on 4/29 Sunday? Get to the Urban Center early and explore the area around the venue!
